Job summary

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a capable Family Nurse Practitioner to serve across multiple Northeast Florida clinics. You will provide urgent and primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine, with leadership in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will be board-certified as an FNP with MSN or higher, strong communication, and experience with EMR and MS Office. Travel across clinics is expected, with flexible hours and team support in busy environments.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher degree required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using EMR and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor surgeries and wound care as needed.
• Conduct suturing and splinting as part of care.
• General orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review and interpret x-rays; radiologist over-read.
• Provide dermatology and eye-related care as needed.
• Explain EKGs and emergency management.
• Provide GYN care; treat children across ages.
• Deliver occupational medicine and telemedicine services.

Floating Family Nurse Practitioner – Northeast Florida Region

MainStreet Family Care is growing and we're looking to hire a fast, fun, and friendly Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to work across multiple clinics in your area! You will provide patient‑focused care to help our patients feel better FAST! Boom! Services provided to the public include urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal applicant will be flexible working with teams in different clinics and providing leadership in a high volume and fast‑paced urgent care environment.

Responsibilities

• Minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suturing
• Splinting
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management
• Review of x‑rays (to be over‑read by Radiologist)
• General Dermatology
• General eye problems
• General EKG interpretations
• Emergency management skills
• General GYN expertise
• Treating children of all ages
• Occupational medicine
• Telemedicine

Schedule

• Shifts determined two months in advance
• MainStreet Clinic Hours
  • Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• KidsStreet Clinic Hours (Montgomery, AL, Pelham, AL, Mobile, AL, Tallahassee, FL, Gainesville, FL, Wake Forest, NC, Greenville, NC, Chapel Hill, NC, Wilmington, NC, Winston‑Salem, NC, Athens, GA, Augusta, GA and Columbus, GA only)
  • Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Work hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, floaters, etc.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
