Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Elko, NV Health Center on a full-time basis. You will support the Walk-In/Acute Care service line, with a rotating 4x10 schedule and weekend coverage as needed.

You'll conduct exams, manage preventive care, prescribe treatments, and coordinate with physicians to ensure seamless patient experiences. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Must hold active RN and NP licenses per state requirements.
• Current national NP certification (ANCC or AANP).
• DEA registration and state prescriptive authority as applicable.
• Minimum 3 years of NP experience in ambulatory care or related fields.
• Maintains licensure and certifications including BLS/ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and preventive care per guidelines.
• Perform injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develop care plans, document progress, ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and health teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribe therapies and medications; refer to specialists as needed.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Full-Time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Elko, NV. This exciting role will support our Walk-In/Acute Care service line. Anticipated work schedule will include rotating 4x10 shifts of 8:00am- 7:00pm (Monday-Thursday and Tuesday-Friday) + 1-2 weekends per month of Sat & Sun, 8am-2pm.

What You'll Do

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
• Maintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practicesPerforms other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration)
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
• Master's Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
