Job summary

NPHire is seeking a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner for a physician-owned clinic in Cumming, GA. Work beside the physician owner in a small, non-corporate setting across all ages (5+).

Shifts: Mondays and Tuesdays with alternating Saturdays. 60–70 USD/hour as a 1099 contractor. CME allowance and dedicated CME days included. Immediate hire; licensure costs are the candidate's responsibility.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia APRN license and FNP board certification required.
• 1–2 years of NP experience preferred; RN experience considered case by case.
• New FNP graduates with prior primary care or med-surg experience considered case by case.
• Comfortable caring for patients across the full age range including children age 5 and up.
• eClinicalWorks experience preferred; willingness to learn accepted.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach in a small practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care across the lifespan from pediatric through geriatric patients (age 5 and up).
• Diagnose and manage acute presentations and chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and thyroid disease.
• Perform well visits, preventive screenings, and health maintenance.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and imaging; coordinate specialty referrals.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
• Document encounters accurately in eClinicalWorks.
• Collaborate with physician owner on complex or ambiguous presentations.
• Participate in shared phone call rotation.

A physician-owned multi-location primary care clinic in Cumming, Georgia is hiring a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner to work directly alongside the physician owner — not a corporate group, not a middleman, just you and the person setting clinical direction working beside each other every day. Full-spectrum family medicine from age 5 through geriatrics, across a multicultural patient panel spanning acute presentations, chronic disease management, and preventive care. Mondays and Tuesdays plus alternating Saturdays. Phone-only call. CME allowance and dedicated CME days included.

Schedule & Compensation

• $60–$70/hour | 1099 independent contractor
• Part-time | Mondays and Tuesdays plus alternating Saturdays
• Phone-only call; no in-person call responsibility
