Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for 100% outpatient care in a well-established, physician-led group with Long Island locations. This full-time (or part-time) role offers a highly competitive salary and flexibility, with Monday–Friday hours and no on-call requirements.

Requires BSN and MSN, NY RN and NP licenses, BLS, board certification, 8+ years NP experience, and strong communication skills. EMR knowledge and value-based care familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• BSN and MSN from an accredited nursing school.
• NYS RN & NP license, BLS, Board Certified.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Proven ability to maintain and grow a local clinical practice is required
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus
• 8+ years experience as a NP.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality care.
• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient primary care setting, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialty services as needed.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff within the practice.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines.
• Participate in population health initiatives and support ongoing quality improvement projects.
• Contribute to the development of a sustainable patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives.
