Markent Personnel seeks an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 100% outpatient practice on Long Island, NY. This role offers flexible hours, part-time or full-time, with no on-call. Compensation ranges from $200,000 to $300,000 per year.

Requirements include BSN and MSN, NYS RN and NP licenses, BLS, Board Certification, and 8+ years as a NP with internal medicine training. Strong diagnostic, communication, and teamwork skills are essential to grow and manage a thriving patient panel.

Qualifications

• BSN and MSN from an accredited nursing school.
• NYS RN & NP license, BLS, Board Certified.
• 8+ years experience as a NP.
• Trained in Internal Medicine.
• Strong diagnostic and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality care.
• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient primary care setting, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialty services as needed.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff within the practice.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines.
• Participate in population health initiatives and support ongoing quality improvement projects.
• Contribute to the development of a sustainable patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives.

Job Type: Part time or Full time. Flexible hours, Monday–Friday, No call.

A well-established, physician-led group with locations throughout Long Island, is currently seeking to hire a Family Nurse Practitioner. This practice has built a stellar reputation for clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and multidisciplinary collaboration. 100% outpatient.

Key Responsibilities:
