University Medical Partners (UMP) in Pleasanton, CA, partners with Stanford Medicine to staff a hospital-affiliated Family Medicine Residency Core Faculty role. The 8/8/8 program emphasizes community-based education, patient care, and resident supervision.

The Core Faculty Member will balance direct patient care (40%) with residency program activities (60%), and will play a central role in curriculum development and scholarly work within the program.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree is required.
• Board certification in Family Medicine is required.
• Ability to obtain a California medical license.
• Strong teaching and mentorship skills are essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; collaboration is critical.
• Demonstrated leadership in curriculum development and program growth.
• Interest in scholarly activities and resident education.
• Commitment to professionalism and ethical behavior.

Responsabilités

• Teach full-scope Family Medicine in a community-based residency program (outpatient and inpatient).
• Supervise residents in the new Stanford Medical Partners Family Medicine Residency Clinic.
• Supervise residents on inpatient Family Medicine teaching services at SHC Tri-Valley Hospital.
• Contribute to curriculum development, resident evaluation, and scholarly activities.
• Engage in program administration, workshops, and didactic sessions.
• Collaborate with Stanford Health Care – Tri-Valley and Stanford School of Medicine while employed by UMP.
