Job summary

One Medical is seeking a physician to join our Austin, TX South Clinic as a full-time family medicine/med-peds physician. You will manage a patient panel with diverse needs, provide in-office, testing center, and telehealth care, and supervise NP/PA colleagues.

A TX license is required and board certification in Family Medicine or Med-Peds is preferred. Relocation assistance and sign-on bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in, or completed, a Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics residency program.
• Outpatient primary care experience in last 5 years.
• Board certified or board eligible with plans to obtain certification within 1 year.
• TX license before start date.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel with acute, chronic, and well visits.
• Treat patients in-office or in testing centers; conduct tele-health visits.
• Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning modalities.
• Collaborate with in-office teammates and virtual clinical teams.
• Supervise NP/PA colleagues; obtain additional licensure as needed.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits


• Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits


• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities


• Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams


• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures


• Supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues


• Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states

Education, Licenses, And Experiences Required For This Role

• Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics residency program


• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing all ages (0+)


• Board certified in Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date


• State licensed in TX, obtained before your One Medical start date

This is a full-time role working for One Medical in Austin, TX at the South Austin clinic.

Relocation assistance and sign-on bonuses are available for this role.

The base salary range for this role is $235,100 - $281,100 based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule.
