Job summary

Essenti Talent seeks an experienced Family Medicine Physician to join a patient-centered, community-based healthcare organization in Washington. The physician will help develop clinical standards and coordinate diagnostic and treatment services within a team-based care model.

Relocation assistance is available. The role requires board certification in Family Medicine, a WA license, and a minimum of two years of clinical practice. This is a full-time permanent position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school with completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program.
• Board certified in Family Medicine.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice in Washington.
• Unrestricted DEA registration for controlled substances.
• Qualifies for insurability under FTCA or equivalent liability coverage.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical practice post-training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to perform all physical demands of the role with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Render professional services within scope of training in compliance with laws and current standards.
• Provide continuous care and supervision; direct and coordinate diagnostic and treatment services.
• Stay current on CDC guidelines and disseminate updates to staff.
• Complete medical records timely per organizational policy.
• Devote full-time to clinical practice; outside activities allowed if they do not affect practice.
• Provide clinical consultation to other providers; answer questions on diagnosis and treatment.
• Participate in peer review processes for clinical privileges.
• Review test results and correspondence for patients of absent providers; implement care.
• Participate in rotating call coverage with other physicians.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues; explain procedures and treatments clearly.
• Assist in planning goals and policies to improve medical management.
• Build relationships with referral sources and consultants; follow up on consults.
• Attend conferences and seminars for continuing education.
• Identify opportunities to improve patient flow and experience.
• Foster relations across departments including front/back office, mental health, pharmacy, and admin.
• Provide care coordination through daily huddles as part of PCMH.
• Identify at-risk populations and monitor panel health.
• Empower patients through self-management education.
• Attend monthly department meetings and complete annual trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
