Job summary

Gilbert Center for Family Medicine, a well-established private practice in Gilbert, AZ, seeks a board-certified Family Medicine/Primary Care physician with at least 2 years of experience to join our high-performing team. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes comprehensive, patient-centered care and collaboration with physicians and staff.

You will document encounters in the EMR, refer appropriately, and participate in quality improvement and mentorship efforts while upholding regulatory

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and board certification in Family or Internal Medicine.
• Active Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain before start date, plus DEA certificate.
• Minimum 2 years of physician experience in primary care.
• BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient panel.
• Collaborate with APPs, clinical staff, and administrative team.
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR.
• Make appropriate referrals beyond the scope of primary care.
• Participate in quality improvement, mentorship, and team development.
• Maintain compliance with applicable clinical and regulatory standards.

Position Overview

Physicians at GCFM are vital members of the care team who work both independently and in collaboration withfellow physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care. We are seekinga board-certified Family Medicine or Primary Care Physician with a minimum of two years' experience in aprimary care setting to join our well-established, high-performing team.

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active Arizona medical license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
• Current federal DEA certificate to prescribe controlled substances
• Minimum 2 years of physician experience in a primary care setting
• BLS certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained)

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in an electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Demonstrated leadership, teaching, and quality improvement experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills
• Ability to adapt effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment
