Job summary

Beacon Hill Legal, a respected law firm partner, seeks an experienced Family Law Paralegal in Clayton, Missouri. You will support attorneys through all phases of litigation, manage case calendars, draft pleadings, and coordinate hearings in domestic relations matters.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of family law paralegal experience, strong drafting and organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and client

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of case management, discovery, and financial documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, maintenance, guardianships, adoptions, and other domestic relations matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, discovery, and other legal documents for attorney review.
• Manage case calendars, track deadlines, monitor court dockets, and coordinate filings through Missouri Case.net.
• Prepare and review discovery materials; ensure timely follow-up on outstanding information.
• Gather and summarize financial records, prepare financial statements and property division worksheets.
• Coordinate hearings, mediations, depositions, and trial preparation, including exhibits and witness materials.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and maintain clear communication with attorneys and court personnel.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys managing cases from start to finish, supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, and helping clients navigate sensitive family law matters with professionalism and compassion.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting attorneys in matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, maintenance, guardianships, adoptions, and other domestic relations matters
• Drafting pleadings, motions, correspondence, discovery, and other legal documents for attorney review
• Managing case calendars, tracking deadlines, monitoring court dockets, and coordinating filings through Missouri Case.net
• Preparing, organizing, and reviewing discovery materials and ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding information
• Gathering and summarizing financial records, preparing financial statements, Form 14 calculations, and property division worksheets
• Coordinating hearings, mediations, depositions, and trial preparation, including exhibits, witness materials, and trial binders
• Serving as a primary point of contact for clients while maintaining clear communication with attorneys, opposing counsel, and court personnel

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of family law paralegal experience and a strong understanding of case management, discovery, financial documentation, and Missouri court procedures. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
