Ascendion is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join our award-winning firm in Louisiana. The candidate should have 1+ years of family law experience and licensure in good standing in Louisiana; prior trial, mediation, and arbitration work is preferred.

Responsibilities include preparing for and attending trials, staying current on laws, conducting research, drafting motions and briefs, and arguing motions in court. The annual salary ranges from 70k to 80k, with benefits and flexible schedule.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ years of family law experience.
• Experience representing clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration.
• Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills; strong writing and verbal communication.
• Licensed and in good standing in Louisiana.

Aufgaben

• Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients.
• Stay updated on changing applicable laws and statutes on the local, state, and federal levels.
• Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings.
• Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions.
