Job Overview:

This position is ideal for a driven attorney looking to handle a diverse and high-volume caseload in family law, including matters such as divorce, custody, and support. The role involves client strategy sessions, drafting pleadings, courtroom appearances, and working collaboratively with support staff in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Location:

Duties:

Conduct client strategy sessions to assess case facts and develop personalized legal plans

Draft legal documents including petitions, responses, declarations, affidavits, parenting plans, child support orders, and trial briefs

Represent clients in hearings, trials, mediations, and settlement conferences

Communicate legal strategies and updates clearly to clients at key stages

Prepare clients for court appearances and trials

Work with support staff to ensure timely case progression and excellent client service

Maintain high standards of professionalism and confidentiality

Requirements:

Licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio

Should have 0-20 years of experience

Comfortable managing a high-volume caseload

Demonstrated organizational skills and time management

Willingness to learn and use case management software (experience with Clio preferred)

Strong ethical standards, accountability, and client empathy

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Active and in good standing with the Ohio State Bar
