Family Law Paralegal

The Law Office of Stephen Vertucci, LLC is seeking a skilled Family Law Paralegal with 3+ years of experience for a 100% REMOTE position. We are a family law firm based in Northern Colorado, specializing in family, divorce, and child custody law. We pride ourselves on our reputation and quality of work. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Remain organized and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, counsel, experts, and other third parties
  • Draft correspondence, motions, proposed orders, reports, and court documents
  • Draft, revise, and finalize responses to motions, interrogatories, discovery, requests for production of documents, and stipulations
  • Draft, revise, and finalize Sworn Financial Statements, 16.2 disclosures, Certificates of Compliance, and Joint Trial Management Certificates
  • Prepare asset/debt spreadsheets, maintenance calculations, and child support worksheets
  • Manage deadlines, case dockets, and attorney Outlook calendars
  • Maintain organized client case files
  • Coordinate appointments and meetings
  • Help clients navigate emotionally charged situations with empathy and professionalism

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years paralegal experience with a focus on Family Law
  • Proficiency in Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Colorado Courts E-Filing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time-management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Self-motivated, demonstrates initiative
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with Family Law Software and Clio
  • Handling caseloads for one or more attorneys
  • Technological proficiency with troubleshooting skills
