Job summary

Confidential Employer is seeking an experienced family law attorney to manage a busy caseload from divorce to child custody and support. This on-site Seattle role offers opportunities to advocate directly for clients and handle motions, pleadings, and court appearances with a focused team.

You will counsel clients through sensitive matters, draft legal documents, and develop case strategies. Strong communication and independent case management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of actual family law practice experience.
• Licensed and in good standing with the applicable State Bar.
• Experience handling divorce, custody, support, and related family law matters.
• Strong motion practice, legal writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently in a busy legal environment.
• Excellent communication, client service, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, and related issues.
• Counsel clients through complex and sensitive legal matters with professionalism, confidence, and care.
• Draft, prepare, and file motions, pleadings, agreements, and other family law documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies tailored to each client’s goals.
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, negotiations, and depositions.
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and internal team members.
• Move cases forward efficiently while delivering strong legal guidance and advocacy.
