Job summary

Talis Group is partnering with a thriving Louisville law firm to grow a Family Law practice. Licensed IN or KY candidates with 1–3 years of Family Law experience will join a collaborative team that prioritizes flexibility and rewards performance with bonuses and profit sharing.

Expect a low 1,500 billable hour requirement, unlimited PTO, and hybrid/remote options after training. The base salary ranges from $80,000 to $95,000, with extensive benefits and minimal travel within Jefferson County.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky or Indiana Bar license in good standing.
• 1–3 years of Family Law experience.
• High-asset divorce experience is a plus.
• Strong courtroom, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Client-focused approach with empathy and effective advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of divorce, custody, child support, paternity, and other Family Law matters.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
• Develop legal strategies while providing compassionate, responsive client communication.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to efficiently move cases toward resolution.
