Job summary

A well-established Boston law firm is seeking a Family Law Associate with 2–5 years of experience to join its growing practice. Represent clients in divorce and family law matters, draft pleadings, and work directly with clients in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in divorce and family law matters.
• Handle matters involving divorce, custody, child support, modifications, paternity, and asset division.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, negotiations, and trials.
• Work directly with clients and provide practical guidance throughout matters.
• Assist with complex financial issues, including assets, closely held businesses, real estate, and executive compensation.
• Manage matters independently while collaborating with experienced attorneys on case strategy.

• Manage matters independently while collaborating with experienced attorneys on case strategy

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of family law experience
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar in good standing

Preferred Skills
