Job summary

Hembree Bell Law Firm in Austin is seeking an experienced family law attorney (1–3 years) to join our growing practice. You will manage your own caseload, represent clients in hearings, and guide families through divisions, custody, and TRCP matters with strategy and care.

We value integrity, mentorship, and a collaborative culture. Base salary ranges from $120,000 to $150,000 with performance bonuses, plus OTE of $170,000+. Austin-based, with a focus on meaningful, client-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Texas State Bar license required.
• 1–3+ years handling contested family law cases.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead your own caseload with strategic, client-centered approaches.
• Represent clients confidently in contested family law matters (hearings, mediation, trial).
• Help families find resolutions through negotiation, not just litigation.
• Apply deep knowledge of the Texas Family Code and TRCP.
• Counsel clients with clarity and compassion, and collaborate with the team.

Requirements

• 1-3+ years of experience handling contested family law cases
