Job Summary

We are seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join our law firm. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in family law litigation, refine trial advocacy and negotiation skills, and grow within a firm that provides substantial career advancement opportunities. You will handle a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and domestic violence cases. Working closely with senior attorneys, including a board-certified civil trial specialist and Super Lawyers, you will gain hands-on experience in litigation, mediation, settlement negotiations, and more. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly organized, an effective communicator, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

● Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and other legal documents.

● Conduct legal research and case analysis.

● Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.

● Develop strategies and collaborate with senior attorneys on complex family law issues.

● Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively for clients.

● Maintain detailed and accurate client records, case files, and communications.

● Develop skills to become a leading family law attorney in Orange County.

Qualifications

● Licensed in California and in good standing with the State Bar.

● Some experience in civil litigation, preferably in family law.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

● Highly organized, responsible, and self-motivated.

● Strong legal writing, research, and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to collaborate strategically with colleagues to serve clients effectively.
