6 Degrees Search is seeking a Family or Internal Medicine physician to join our established Northwest Indiana healthcare team in Valparaiso. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule, 1:10 call rotation, and a supportive environment focused on physician well-being and sustainable work-life balance.

The selected physician will provide high-quality primary care, manage chronic conditions, and collaborate with specialists using EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with a plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality primary care, including physical exams, wellness check-ups, and immunizations for a diverse patient population (Adults only for IM; all ages for FM).
• Clinic patients per day: 15-30.
• Call Rotation: 1:10.
• Diagnose and manage long-term conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and COPD.
• Treat non-emergent injuries and illnesses (e.g., infections, minor trauma).
• Order and interpret labs, X-rays, and other diagnostic screenings.
• Manage the patient's care journey by coordinating with specialists.
