Job summary

Simpson Housing Services in Minneapolis seeks a dedicated case manager to support families through housing stability and independence. This temporary capacity building role sits within the Non-Time Limited and Time Limited Supportive Housing teams, delivering in-home support and coordinating services.

Responsibilities include intakes, housing placement, monthly goal review with participants, transportation assistance, recordkeeping, and collaboration with property managers and community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or relevant experience is required.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
• Strong computer skills and MS Office experience.
• Ability to learn and use client record databases.
• Experience with low-income families and homelessness a plus.
• Commitment to Harm Reduction/Housing First.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective case management to participant families and complete intakes.
• Assist with housing placement and orient participants to policies and procedures.
• Meet weekly with families to review goals and progress.
• Partner with families to develop self-defined goals for stability and independence.
• Provide transportation assistance and accompany to appointments.
• Maintain thorough documentation and timely recordkeeping for client files.
