Working to recruit children for the inclusive Head Start or Early Head Start program, completes intake documents, supports enrollment, monitors attendance, supports family wellbeing and engagement in the program, conducts home visits, connects families with community resources and conducts monthly parent meetings. Assists in carrying out goals, policies and activities designated to implement the Head Start Program Performance Standards.

Position serves approximately 10 ½ months (46 weeks) per year with summer hiatus.

Qualifications:

• Must be a fluent bilingual communicator in English and Spanish.
• Degree in Sociology, Psychology, or related field; or credential in social work, family services, human services, counseling or related field required within 18 months of hire; credentialing will be facilitated by Head Start.
