Job summary

Next Door Foundation Inc. is seeking a Family Engagement Coordinator in Milwaukee to design and implement family engagement opportunities, coordinate events, and strengthen partnerships with families and community organizations.

This role reports to the Director of Family Engagement and Enrollment and focuses on improving family well-being, school readiness, and ongoing participation in Next Door programs. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience coordinating community

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience coordinating community programs or nonprofit initiatives.
• Experience engaging diverse families and communities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a calendar of family engagement opportunities across sites.
• Coordinate family events, workshops, literacy activities, and school readiness events.
• Develop engagement activities for enrolled, waitlisted, and prospective families.
• Lead outreach and recruitment events to increase enrollment and retention.
• Support family leadership through Parent Policy Council and partnerships.
