Job summary

Kidango is seeking a Family Eligibility & Need Specialist to ensure enrollment compliance with state and federal programs. You will work with Center Directors and AP programs to maintain enrollment and assess family needs, including eligibility for subsidy programs and private pay options.

The role requires handling confidential information, recertification, and collaboration with various teams. Some travel and California driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• AA or 2-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Five years of customer service and detailed administrative duties.
• Experience with computerized databases; web-based preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess full day and part day needs of families in areas of responsibility.
• Maintain confidentiality of children, families and staff information.
• Maintain continuing eligibility of subsidy families through recertification.
• Monitor and evaluate family eligibility & need daily to assist families with continuity of services.
• Travel efficiently throughout the assigned area.
