Job summary

Southeast NE Community Action (SENCA) in Nebraska City seeks a versatile program support staffer to gather data, perform outreach, referrals and case management for SENCA families.

You will implement the Family Development program, conduct needs assessments, home visits, and budgeting/nutrition classes as needed, while recruiting participants and training volunteers to support daily operations and ensure accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in human services field is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, public relations and interviewing skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take action.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach, referral and Case Management Services to SENCA families.
• Implement the Family Development program including outreach, needs assessment, home visits, goal setting, planning and implementation.
• Recruit program participants for SENCA programs.
• Provide basic intake and income verification services.
• Gather, compile, and maintain data on needs of SENCA participants and coordinate with other agencies.
