Job summary

Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership (NENCAP) is seeking a full-time SSVF Case Manager to advocate for economically disadvantaged individuals and families, assess needs, and coordinate with social services. You will handle case management, tenancy support, and collaboration with landlords to prevent evictions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating Tax Counseling activities, submitting required reports, and maintaining confidentiality across daily

Qualifications

• Assess needs of economically disadvantaged individuals and families.
• Liaise between clients and social services; provide case management.
• Oversee operations of the Tax Counseling Program in the assigned area.
• Submit timely reports to the Program Director/Program Coordinator; maintain mileage logs, time sheets, monthly logs.

Responsibilities

• Work with participants to assess tenancy issues, income and financial needs.
• Collaborate with landlords on late payments, damages or lease violations to prevent evictions.
• Assist participants in connecting with employment services and financial assistance.
• Monitor client progress via home/office visits, calls and mail.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with program/agency policies.
