Job summary

Lutheran Services Florida seeks a Family & Community Engagement Manager to oversee federal requirements for Family, Parent and Community Engagement and supervise related staff. This role leads ERSEA enrollment activities and partnerships with community agencies to ensure program quality.

The position supports Head Start and Early Head Start services, manages budgets, and coordinates with the director and partners to meet performance standards and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required; Master’s preferred.
• Five years of relevant experience with children and families.
• Three years of staff supervisory experience.
• Bilingual skills preferred: English/Spanish or other local languages.

Responsibilities

• Manage Parent Involvement activities including programs for fathers.
• Supervise Family & Community Engagement staff and partners.
• Oversee ERSEA enrollment, eligibility, and recruitment activities.
• Contribute to School Readiness Plans with partners in Early Childhood teams.
• Ensure compliance with HS/EHS performance standards and reporting.
