Lutheran Services Florida, Inc. seeks a Regional Fundraising and Community Engagement Coordinator to support statewide donor engagement and community partnerships in Florida. This hybrid role connects donors, congregations, and volunteers with local programs across assigned counties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, plus 1–2 years in fund-development.
• Successful completion of Level II background screening, local criminal record check and drug screening prior to hire.
• Sensitivity to diverse communities and needs required.

Responsibilities

• Donor stewardship: build and maintain relationships, communication, and engagement to retain support.
• New donor acquisition outreach in coordination with Development Team.
• Create consistent donor communication streams (newsletters/emails).
• Coordinate donor acknowledgement processes with the team.
• Record donor contacts, activities, and follow-ups in the CRM.
• Communicate with Ambassador Board Coordinators on local initiatives.
• Plan and lead Ambassador Board meetings at least monthly.
• Identify and nurture new relationships for Ambassador Boards.
• Assist with planning and executing local fundraising events and donor gatherings.
• Develop relationships to locate sponsors/partners for local programs.
• Represent LSF at community events and partner activities.
• Collaborate with Development and Central Services teams; monitor KPIs.
