Job summary

Hired is seeking a Family Coach to develop trusting relationships with families through individualized coaching, family education, group connections, and referrals to community resources. The role uses Parents as Teachers (PAT) curriculum and emphasizes culturally responsive practices, with home visits and community outreach.

The position is mostly in person with some hybrid work and requires travel to meet families in their home or community throughout the Twin Cities area.

Qualifications

• Two years of education in early childhood education, social work, health, psychology, or a related field is recommended (or equivalent degree outside of the US).
• Two years supervised work experience with young children and/or parents within a community setting is acceptable.
• Preferred bilingual ability – Somali or Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and enroll new families in Hired’s Family Home Visiting Program and build partnerships with community organizations.
• Conduct home visits and provide family education and coaching using PAT curriculum.
• Maintain a caseload and monitor progress, screenings, and goals with families.
