Buckner Children and Family Services Community: Family Hope Center
Location: Dallas, TX - Onsite
Address: 5310 S. Buckner Blvd.
Job Schedule: Full-Time

We are seeking a Family Coach/Case Manager to join our Family Hope Center. As a Family Coach, you will assess the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of our program participants, providing family coaching and case management services. Your role will involve assisting individuals and families facing issues such as poverty, addiction, abuse, and homelessness. You will organize support groups, help clients access community services, refer them to other agencies, and collaborate with civic, religious, and business groups to address social challenges through community programs.

What you'll do:

  • Create and implement programs at the Family Hope Center aligned with core services and the Family Strengthening Framework to meet the needs of individuals and families.
  • Coordinate supportive services for families according to program goals.
  • Assist eligible participants with out-of-home placements or respite care arrangements.
  • Compile and analyze intake and referral information to assess client needs and complete enrollment processes.
  • Provide case management, including reviewing and updating service plans, case notes, and referrals.
  • Coordinate therapy services and provide crisis counseling as needed.
  • Help clients access community resources and support services.
  • Develop relationships with educational, employment, housing, and childcare providers to coordinate services.
  • Analyze program needs and adjust services to meet changing client requirements.
  • Manage schedules for events and classes, and facilitate meetings and training sessions.

What you’ll bring :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of related case management experience with at-risk children and families.
  • Proficient knowledge of community resources.
  • Fluent in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Valid driver’s license, ability to drive, and provide proof of insurance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods.
