Job summary

AWARE Inc. in Missoula, MT seeks a Child and Family Support Specialist to deliver services under clinical guidance, using prescribed curriculum lesson plans to support individuals and families in the community.

This full-time role focuses on helping adults, children, and families become active, engaged community members. You will assess clients and environments, coordinate treatment planning with the team, and facilitate access to Medical, Social, Educational, Vocational, and Recreational

Qualifications

• A thorough understanding of human services, resources, and tools.
• The ability to assess clients (and families) from a strengths model perspective, along with the skills, knowledge, and abilities to develop a theoretical perspective.
• The ability to work with a variety of people.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with AWARE’s Clinical Professionals in providing services as assigned and developed through prescribed curriculum lesson plans.
• Spend time with client and family as assigned and/or as identified on the treatment plan.
• Assesses client, family and environments utilizing assessment tools.
• Coordinates and conducts the team process to develop a comprehensive Individualized Treatment Plan.
• Provide services to identified children and families in order to assist in gaining access to: Medical Services, Social Services, Educational Service, Vocational Services, Recreational Services.
