Job summary

AWARE in Missoula, MT is hiring a Child and Family Support Specialist to provide high-quality care to individuals in the community. You will join a compassionate team focused on personal growth, serving adults, children, and families with unconditional care.

Responsibilities include collaborating with clinical professionals, implementing prescribed curricula, and helping clients access medical, social, educational, vocational, and recreational services.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in a Human Services related field preferred.
• Ability to assess clients and families from a strengths-based perspective.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with a variety of people.
• Equivalency can be used based on work history, education and volunteer experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical professionals to deliver prescribed services.
• Spend time with clients and families as identified on the treatment plan.
• Assess clients, families and environments using assessment tools.
• Coordinate and conduct the team process to develop an Individualized Treatment Plan.
• Help clients access medical, social, educational, vocational and recreational services.
