Job summary

Beech Acres Parenting Center is seeking a Family Centered Treatment (FCT) therapist to deliver counseling and therapy to children and families in an evidence-based framework. The role emphasizes delivering structured, goal-oriented sessions in the natural environment to support recovery from mental health and related issues.

The position requires completing assessments, treatment planning, and diligent documentation while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Provides counseling/therapy within the Family Centered Treatment model.
• Completes mental health assessments and intake processes with clients and families ensuring best practice standards.
• Completes documentation including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge paperwork.
• Maintains case load of an average of FCT-referred families with structured sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provides Family Centered Treatment to children and their families.
• Ensures services meet medical necessity and adhere to relevant standards and licensure boards.
• Completes documentation and maintains program fidelity and monthly reports.
• Participates in team meetings and provides supervision and training as needed.
