Job summary

The Child Center of NY is seeking a Family Case Aide for the Brooklyn Catchment SBES to support safety, stability and well-being of children and families. You will conduct home visits, supervise visits, connect families to resources, and document services in partnership with case planners.

Responsibilities include assisting with assessments and service plans, coordinating appointments, transportation, and childcare, facilitating parent groups, and maintaining confidential case records to support

Qualifications

• One year of relevant work in child welfare or life experience.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to plan and carry out assignments independently.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Family Coordinators in assessing families and developing service plans.
• Coordinate appointments, transportation, and childcare.
• Facilitate parent/caregiver support groups and connect families to resources.
• Maintain accurate case records and support documentation.
• Collaborate with school staff and community partners for coordinated services.
• Provide updates on client needs and progress to supervisors.
