Job summary

The Pennant Group is seeking a Family Advisor for McFarland Villa Assisted Living and Madison Pointe Senior Living to champion resident recruitment and family engagement. You will cultivate relationships with prospects and families, coordinate admissions with the community team, and implement marketing strategies to maintain occupancy while ensuring compassionate service for residents and their families.

  • Knowledge of physiology and psychology of the older person.
  • Recognizes common signs/symptoms of dementia.
  • Strong customer service and telephone marketing skills.
  • Willing to travel locally.
  • Clean driving record and valid state-issued driver’s license.

About the Opportunity

Successfully leads theresidentrecruitment process by establishing and cultivating meaningful relationships with prospects and their families and identifies individual candidate’s needs. Develops and maintains productive internal and external marketing strategies including referral sources and community relationships. Maintains occupancy levels, tracks and trends resident movements, is the central point of contact for all prospective residents and manages the admission/assessment process in collaboration with the community management team.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in marketing or human services field preferred.

  • Prior experience in marketing to seniors, in sales, senior housing, long-term care insurance, hospitality or an appropriate healthcare/personal care background preferred.

  • Proven track record of marketing/sales results.

  • An outgoing personality, superior communication skills and strong customer service orientation required.

  • Must present a neat, clean appearance and demonstrate a positive, cheerful attitude.

  • Must possessa cleandriving record and valid state issued driver’s license.

  • Local travel required.
