Clarvida is seeking a Family Preservation and Reunification Caseworker to serve children, youth and families in Mifflin County, PA. You will coordinate services with Mifflin County Children & Youth Services and conduct monthly foster home visits and observations.

You will prepare case notes and required documentation, and be available to provide court testimony when needed. This full-time, community-based position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field required or Bachelor’s Degree in unrelated field with minimum 12 credits in a Human Service related course.
• 1 year of experience/training in working with children and/or families.
• Knowledge of child welfare, juvenile justice, mental health, or developmental disability service systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Initiate and maintain contact with families referred through Mifflin County CYS.
• Accompany and help families prepare for doctor appointments and attend monthly foster home visits and observations.
• Prepare and complete required documentation, including case notes, in compliance with regulations and company standards.

About your Role:

AsaFamily Preservation and Reunification Caseworker, you will work with children, youth, and families in conjunction with the Mifflin County Children & Youth Services. You will be responsible for initiate and maintain contact with families who are referred through Mifflin County CYS Accompanying and helping families prepare for doctor appointments as well as monthly foster home visits and observations. Prepare and complete required documentation; including case notes, in compliance with regulations and company standards while also being available and prepared to provide court testimony in a professional manner as needed and scheduled.

• Competitive pay rate- $20.00/hour
• Quarterly Productivity Bonus of $250

Does the following apply to you?

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field; or
• Bachelor’s Degree in unrelated field with minimum 12 credits in a Human Service related course; i.e., psychology, sociology, counseling, etc.
• 1-year experience/training in working with children and/or families.
• Knowledge of the child welfare, juvenile justice, mental health, or developmental disability service systems is a plus
• A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s license with good driving record
