Job summary

AdventHealth Denver is hiring a Registered Nurse for a day shift in a full-time capacity. You will apply nursing knowledge to diagnose, treat, and monitor unit patients, ensuring safety and compassionate care. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team is essential to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You will complete assessments, set realistic care goals, and participate in ongoing education and quality improvement, while adhering to infection prevention and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• BLS certification required
• New RN graduate or <1 year experience preferred
• Ability to work in a matrix-management environment
• Ability to use MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of adult learning principles is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to diagnosed needs and clinical procedures
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team and patients' families
• Perform assessments and develop care plans with measurable goals
• Ensure infection prevention and safety standards are followed
• Participate in education and training activities
• Support quality improvement initiatives and documentation
