Whitestone Associates, Inc. invites students to join a fall internship running from September through December. The schedule offers flexible hours based on project needs and your availability.

You will engage in soil laboratory testing, assist with materials testing in our on-site lab, and perform geotechnical site research. Opportunities include field testing, inspection, and soil boring investigations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Ideally candidates will have taken and passed a Soils Laboratory class.

Responsibilities

• Soil laboratory testing and coordination.
• Assisting with materials testing in our on-site laboratory.
• Geotechnical site research.
• Some field construction phase testing and inspection.
• Assisting with soil boring and/or test pit investigations.
