Job summary

Whitestone Associates, Inc. is offering a fall internship in Orlando, running from September through December with flexible hours to fit project needs.

Responsibilities include soil laboratory testing, materials testing in our on-site lab, geotechnical site research, some field testing and inspection, and assisting with soil boring/test pits. Compensation is hourly with benefits eligibility based on status.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Ideally candidates will have taken and passed a Soils Laboratory class.

Responsibilities

• Soil laboratory testing and coordination.
• Assisting with materials testing in our on-site laboratory.
• Geotechnical site research.
• Some field construction phase testing and inspection.
• Assisting with soil boring and/or test pit investigations.

Education

Pursuing a degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
