Job summary

Cedar Circle Farm & Education Center is seeking dependable team members for our seasonal Baking Crew through December. Part-time (20-25 hrs/wk) or full-time (30-40 hrs/wk) positions available, with weekends optional. You'll help bake breads, pastries, and cookies using high-quality organic ingredients in a collaborative kitchen.

No professional baking experience is required; we will provide training. You must be reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment, lifting

Responsibilities

• Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Assist with mixing ingredients, shaping, and baking breads, pastries, cookies, and other baked goods.
• Help maintain inventory of baked goods and ingredients, communicating needs to the Kitchen Manager.
• Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards for taste, texture, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow food safety guidelines.
• Check in daily with the Kitchen Manager to review tasks, schedules, and production goals.
• Assist with additional baking and kitchen tasks as needed.

Seasonal, through December 30-40 hours per week (full time) or 20-25 hours per week (part time)

Love to bake-or want to learn? Our Farm Kitchen is looking for dependable people to join our seasonal baking crew. Full and part-time positions are available through the end of the season.

You’ll help prepare fresh breads, pastries, cookies, and other baked goods using high-quality organic ingredients in a collaborative kitchen. If you're reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, we'll provide the training you need-no professional baking experience required.

The position is for 5 days per week. Weekend shifts are available for those who are interested or available to work them.

Responsibilities

Compensation

The Baking Crew position is seasonal, through December, with benefits including paid leave, fresh produce, a 20% discount at our farmstand and cafe, access to an employee assistance program, and a 403(b) retirement plan with a 5% employer safe harbor match. Pay range is $15-18/hr, depending on experience. Ability to work the remainder of the season is required.
