Job summary

Cedar Circle Farm & Education Center in East Thetford, Vermont, is seeking seasonal bakers to join our kitchen crew through December. Part-time and full-time shifts are available, with 20-25 hours weekly for part time or 30-40 hours for full time and weekend work possible.

No professional baking experience required; training provided to build skills using organic ingredients. You'll measure ingredients, mix and bake breads, pastries, and cookies, maintain a clean workspace, follow food-safety

Responsibilities

Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Assist with mixing ingredients, shaping, and baking breads, pastries, cookies, and other baked goods.
Help maintain inventory of baked goods and ingredients, communicating needs to the Kitchen Manager.
Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards for taste, texture, and presentation.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Check in daily with the Kitchen Manager to review tasks, schedules, and production goals.
Assist with additional baking and kitchen tasks as needed.
