Job Description

The Division of International Banking and Finance Studies is seeking to establish a pool of qualified applicants for part-time Adjunct Faculty positions in Finance for the upcoming Fall 2025 semester (August 25 - December 16). Successful applicants may teach up to six semester credit hours at both graduate and undergraduate levels in an online format based on student demand. Responsibilities include holding office hours and assisting students as needed.

Education and Experience
  • An earned Ph.D. or DBA degree in Finance is required.
  • Previous college-level teaching experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Finance or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Finance from an accredited institution.
  • Familiarity with Quality Matters certification and Blackboard teaching platform.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Professional interaction with the public.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work under stress and tight deadlines.
  • Maintaining confidentiality.
Additional Information
  • Job duties may vary and not all duties are required for every position.
  • Positions are temporary, on a semester basis, and filled as needed.
  • This appointment is for Fall 2025 and may include related terms.
