Berkeley Research Group, LLC (BRG) is seeking a Fall 2027 Accounting and Technology Associate to join its interdisciplinary teams across finance, accounting, technology, and legal disciplines in major U.S. markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics, Economics or other related subject, with an expected graduation date between Winter 2026 and Summer 2027.
• 3.6 GPA or higher preferred.
• Strong quantitative, research, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-service environment.
• Attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Willingness to consider becoming a CPA.
• Experience with statistical, data analysis, or programming tools such as Excel, Stata, R, Python, SQL or similar platforms is preferred.
• Fluency with AI tools is preferred.
• Candidates must be able to submit verification of their legal right to work in the United States, without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, accounting records, operating data, and other business information.
• Support damages analyses, business interruption calculations, valuation work, claim preparation, and investigative findings.
• Assist with reconstructing financial information, developing financial models, and identifying key trends or anomalies.
• Help prepare expert reports, trial demonstratives, presentations, exhibits, and other client deliverables.
• Support client interviews, fraud investigations, compliance review, discovery efforts, internal controls assessments, and risk mitigation work.
• Collaborate with professionals across finance, accounting, economics, technology, data management, and legal disciplines.
