Job summary

The University of Missouri System Campus Dining Services is seeking a Student Assistant CSM to join MU campus dining operations. You will provide customer service, assist in daily tasks, and help maintain safe, clean dining spaces across units.

As a MU student, you can work flexible shifts including weekends, with opportunities to gain experience in food service, cashiering, and inventory. Salary is $15 per hour. This position offers hands-on learning and campus-specific duties.

Qualifications

• Must be a student of MU.
• Prior food preparation experience (preferred).
• Prior food service experience (preferred).
• Processing sales (preferred).
• Retail experience (preferred).
• Barista (preferred).
• ServSafe Certification (preferred).
• AOS or Certified Sous Chef (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer services

• Complete Serving Line Worksheets
• Set-up service/preparation areas
• Replenish service/preparation areas
• Dishwashing

• Assist in receiving food items, paper goods, and other related items

• Keeping storage areas secure
• Keep docks, receiving, storage, and laundry areas neat and tidy
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and secure working area
• Complete required training
• Help the department constantly improve and reach its vision
• Perform other duties as assigned

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary: $15/hour

University Title: Student Assistant CSM

Shift

Various times and days including weekends. Potential late evening shifts included. Depending on the unit. We will work around your class schedule. Students are not required to work during winter break, spring break, or summer.
