Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Structures Technician (Falcon) to support multi-shift operations in Hawthorne, CA. You will modify, assemble, align, and install rocket components, following detailed drawings and safety standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with precision tooling, fixtures, and inspection to ensure parts meet exact tolerances. You will work within a high-volume aerospace environment, performing repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining quality and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Certificate from an accredited trade school in A&P, manufacturing, or electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modify, repair, assemble, and install rocket and spacecraft components and subsystems.
• Use tooling holes, pilot holes, or by hand as required per drawings.
• Align parts and secure with clecos or clamps; check edge margins.
• Drill, ream, countersink, and deburr holes to proper sizes and tolerances.
• Inspect work against drawings and specifications; ensure complete per plan.
