Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is seeking a Faithful Innovation Lead in Louisville, KY, to coordinate four interconnected ministries and foster a thriving, future-oriented church across congregations and mid councils.

The role requires a deep commitment to PC(USA) polity, collaborative leadership, and the ability to cultivate partnerships with external organizations, while guiding grant evaluation and program development.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in ministry leadership or denominational work.
• Deep familiarity with PC(USA) polity and mainline ministry.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex portfolios.
• Theological imagination balancing tradition with new approaches.
• Strong facilitation, discernment, and collaborative leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for four Faithful Innovation ministries and develop cohesive resources for mid councils and worshipping communities.
• Partner with Thriving Mid Councils and PL&W Leadership to set strategic direction for faithful innovation.
• Directly supervise staff within each portfolio area and build a values-driven team.
• Cultivate partnerships with external organizations, innovators, and practitioners to expand capacity.
• Develop grant evaluation frameworks reflecting outcomes and missional faithfulness.
• Consult with mid councils and PC(USA) partners to align initiatives with local realities.
