Epiphany Catholic Church is seeking a Coordinator of Faith Formation for this active, diverse community of over 1,200 households in Louisville, Kentucky, in eastern Jefferson County. For over 55 years, we have been committed to providing lifelong learning experiences that foster spiritual growth at all levels of human development. We continue to explore new and creative ways to share faith.The successful candidate for this full-time position will be someone who is energetic and able to motivate and work with a broad range of people who help make this ministry to people of all ages an active opportunity to live the faith we profess in ways suited to all ages and backgrounds, interests, and motivations. In collaboration with the pastor, staff members, and volunteers, this person provides leadership in the design and implementation of programs for children, youth, and adults that will nurture and enrich an active, living Catholic Faith for the 21st century.Due to our changing demographics, this person should be conversant, if not fluent, in Spanish and English, willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends as needed to meet parishioners' requirements and schedules. The position demands strong written and oral communication skills, and a bachelor's degree and/or work experience in a related field is preferred. Ideal candidates should also either hold a catechetical certification or be willing to seek certification.
