GEO Secured Services is seeking a Religious Services Coordinator to provide spiritual and pastoral care to detainees and support their religious rights in line with applicable law and CBDC Standards.

The role leads worship, counseling, staff training, and coordinates clergy contributions to ensure equitable religious services across the facility. Ordained status or equivalent recognition is required, with ability to work with diverse faith communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include ordained clergy status or recognized religious roles.
• Knowledge of diverse religions and worship requirements.
• Familiarity with facility security procedures and compliance standards.
• Strong interpersonal and counseling abilities with staff and detainees.
• Fiscal management understanding and ability to allocate resources.
• Ability to train staff and volunteers on cultural and religious diversity.
• Proficiency with common computer software used in the department.

Responsibilities

• Provides pastoral care to detainees and supports their religious beliefs.
• Leads religious worship, education, counseling, and spiritual direction.
• Coordinates with local clergy and manages religious program resources.
• Develops staff training materials on faith practices and diversity.
• Communicates clearly with facility staff and external partners.
