Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess official ordination credentials or documented recognition as a spiritual leader with an Ecclesiastical Endorsement from a national body.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience providing religious services in correctional, detention, military, or institutional settings.
• Demonstrated experience with diverse faith traditions and populations.
• Knowledge of world religions, dietary laws, and religious calendars.
• Ability to coordinate services for Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Islamic, Buddhist, Hindu, and other faith traditions.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Must provide proof of US citizenship or work authorization; if active duty, provide DD214s.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently; 21+ years old; high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate religious services, worship schedules, and faith-based programming for residents.
• Facilitate access to religious accommodations, materials, and dietary requests while ensuring policy compliance.
• Schedule visits for chaplains, clergy, volunteers, and outside religious partners.
• Maintain records of participation, activities, and accommodations.
• Monitor programming to ensure safety, respect, and security procedures.
• Collaborate with detention, food service, healthcare, and leadership on accommodations and wellness.
• Inspect service spaces and materials for safety and compliance.
• Address concerns and conflicts with appropriate resolutions.
• Ensure all visitors comply with security procedures and conduct standards.
• Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
