Qualifications

• Candidates should be student-centered and collaborative.
• Preferred NCIDQ certification and a terminal degree (MFA/PhD) or related field (MArch).
• University teaching experience and/or professional practice in interior design (3 years).
• Active membership in IDEC, ASID, IIDA or AIA.
• LEED-AP or Well-AP certification or similar registrations/licensures.
• Experience with CIDA accreditation and NASAD adherence.
• Engagement in creative scholarship or applied exhibitions.

Responsibilities

• Teach lower and upper-level studio and lecture courses.
• Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture, REVIT, SketchUp Pro, Adobe Suite, Enscape.
• Participate in academic program curriculum development.
• Conduct academic student advisement, recruitment, and retention.
• Collegial service to the School and University committees.
• Support student chapters of ASID, IIDA or other organizations.
• Engage in creative scholarship and exhibitions or publications.
