Job summary

Valor Christian High School seeks an Assistant Coach to mentor student-athletes, model Christian character, and support Valor Athletics through leadership and teamwork. The role emphasizes developing athletes’ faith and academic excellence within a competitive sports program.

You will collaborate with coaches, engage parents, and contribute to daily practice planning, film review, and scouting while upholding Valor’s values and culture.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience in the specific sport.
• Experience mentoring student-athletes.
• Must maintain confidentiality in school matters.
• Able to relate to high school athletes.
• Strong communication with parents and other coaches.

Responsibilities

• Possess and model a growing relationship with Christ in all interactions.
• Provide strategic, effective team support and leadership to Valor athletic programs.
• Develop and execute spiritual and character development plans for athletes.
• Support team plans and game preparation including film and scouting.
